Finance & Investment: The firm provides tailored legal advice across the finance and investment sector, including banking and finance, re/insurance, funds, wealth management, fraud and financial crime, and regulation and enforcement. The team has expanded its deal-base to include a number of international and national clients – Royal Bank of Scotland, Santander, Octopus Investments, Standard Bank and Capita Financial Group.

Jonathan Riley has attracted an increasing number of clients from overseas, particularly in the areas of international tax and investment structuring advice. The nationally renowned agriculture team in Bristol, led by Peter Williams (the author of the leading text on agricultural law Scammell, Densham & Williams’), continues to grow, as does the private wealth team in Bristol, led by Sandra Brown, a leading private client lawyer with over 25 years’ experience.

INTERNATIONAL The firm is a member of the International Bar Association. Increasingly winning international work, particularly from the Far East - the firm is acting for Chinese developer Greenland Group on the Ram Brewery mixed-use development in London.
