Property Solicitor – London We are looking for a lawyer, ideally with at least three years’ experience, to join our Residential Property team in London. This will be a full time role or a part time role with shorter hours over five days per week. The successful candidate will have a good grounding in property law and its application to residential property. The role will involve advisory and transactional work, including purchases, sales, lettings and financing of residential property for high net worth individuals, investors and developers, and leasehold enfranchisement. Experience of high value Central London property transactions is required. The successful candidate will be pro-active, organised and systematic, self-motivated and able to provide a high standard of client care.

We are looking for a Manchester-based paralegal to work full time for our Healthcare department. This will be a fixed term contract starting in July 2017 and would suit someone wishing to gain some relevant legal experience before beginning a training contract. The role will primarily involve attending hearings at the Manchester General Medical Council and occasionally at other locations. The paralegal would be required to take notes of proceedings, look after clients in court and liaise with counsel and fee earners in clinical negligence and regulatory cases. They would also be expected to visit the Leeds office periodically to assist in the preparation for cases, to collect court bundles or to undertake research. We are looking for someone who is bright, enthusiastic and keen to learn and develop. They will need to demonstrate initiative, flexibility and attention to detail, and to have an interest in, or some experience of, Healthcare law. As they will be in court much of the time they need to be self-sufficient and self-motivated. The salary will be £19,000 pa. Travel expenses will be payable for trips to the Leeds office or other locations outside Manchester.
