We are the only top 20 law firm in the UK with a market leading national Family Team that acts for private clients in all aspects of family law, including pre and post nuptial agreements; cases with a business and/or international aspect; children law and cohabitation.
This is a superb opportunity to develop your skills within a highly established and innovative department and to work alongside leading solicitors and experts on a stimulating mix of high quality privately-funded cases. We are looking for a qualified Solicitor with 1-3 years PQE experience in family law starting as soon as practical. Ideally you will have significant experience of more than your years and for example, working as a paralegal in family law pre qualification would be ideal.
It is essential that you possess rounded client service skills and you must be able to empathise with a wide range of clients in order to resolve the most sensitive and complicated practicalities involved in family break-ups. Of particular importance will be organisational and communication skills. The successful candidate will be committed to team work, and crucially have a proven track record in business development and networking to help in developing and building a successful Family Law Team at the top of the market in the City. You must also be a Resolution member and committed to resolving applications according to the Resolution Code of Practice.
You will have good IT skills and should be familiar with the Microsoft Office suite of applications. The successful candidate will be rewarded with strong partner access and training and excellent career progression opportunities.
