Job Description

 

JPC is looking to expand its Property Practice Group to incorporate an experienced residential conveyancer.

The candidate will join our established property practice group complementing a team of 10 fee earners with specialisms in residential conveyancing and leasehold enfranchisement comprising 3 partners, 2 consultants, 1 assistant solicitor and 3 paralegals.

JPC would consider a solicitor, licenced conveyancer or experienced conveyancing paralegal for this role seeking a someone with strong residential conveyancing experience dealing with matters from inception to post completion with ease and able to handle a fast, busy caseload. The candidate must be used to dealing with volume conveyancing transactions, interacting with clients and third parties and turning around the transactions in an efficient, expedient manner.

The ideal candidate will have experience in the following areas:-

Sale and purchase of residential property;

Remortgages and first or second charges;

Property transfers;

New leases;

Buy to lets;

Shared ownership;

New build and plot purchases;

Park exchanges;

Equity release;

Knowledge of Section 42 notices and leasehold extension legal process (voluntary/non voluntary) an advantage

Candidates must be IT literate, able to work self sufficiently without a secretary with previous use of a case/document management system advantageous.
