Tax Associate – Mid-Level
We are seeking a candidate of 2-5 years’ PQE to join our London tax team as an associate.
The team gets involved in a diverse range of international and domestic transactional and advisory work and is recognised as performing a strategically significant role within the firm. Much of the work is generated by the London office (which is the largest office in the firm), but the team also receives a regular stream of work from its overseas (and, in particular, US) offices.
We are looking for someone to help service that wide range of work and to develop business further. The person must have a City background in private practice, with significant tax experience of corporate and ideally finance and real estate matters. International tax experience would also be beneficial.
Candidates must have strong technical and communication skills and be enthusiastic, hardworking and a team player. They must also have the necessary skills to be able to develop a rapport with colleagues in other teams and build their own profile within the firm.
The successful candidate will be involved in complex and high-profile work within an experienced team that prides itself on being friendly and supportive. They will be joining a small but close-knit team of 2 partners, 2 senior associates and 1 junior associate. They will be a valued and valuable member of that team, with responsibility from the start on a variety of matters.
There is no expectation of a client following.
