The role:

We are seeking a legal consultant with experience in derivatives and financial markets to join one of our clients. Working within the derivatives team, the legal consultant will be responsible for drafting and negotiating derivatives documentation (ISDA and FBF), terms of business with brokers, give up agreements, clearing agreements contracts with negotiation platforms, EMTN bond issues under the existing client EMTN Programme, commercial distributions contracts and liquidity letters. This ideal individual will be an experienced legal consultant who is able to provide strategic guidance on legal matters and work with minimal supervision.


Person specification:

  • At least two years’ post qualification experience and training from a top tier law firm or from a recognized financial institution
  • Ability to draft, review and amend derivatives documentation
  • Motivated and self-starting – the ability to work autonomously
  • Quick thinking and detail driven
  • Pro-active and process driven
  • Fluency in French is a strong advantage
