CORPORATE FINANCE LAWYERS - LONDON

Brief

We are currently looking to recruit lawyers to join the London Corporate Finance practice, ideally candidates with 2-5 years PQE experience in corporate finance transactions advising listed companies, investment banks and corporate finance advisers on a range of listed company transactions.

The Team

 

The Corporate Finance ("CF") practice is a significant part of the firm’s international Corporate practice and has been identified by the Firm as a key area for investment as it seeks to enhance its reputation in the City of London.  The Corporate practice comprises some 120 lawyers including more than 35 partners. 

At Pinsent Masons, CF work is broadly interpreted as doing corporate work for listed companies and investment banks and other intermediaries active in the public markets.  Examples would include advising on IPOs, secondary fundraisings, takeovers and providing day-to-day advice on the Listing Rules, the AIM Rules, the DGTRs, the Prospectus Rules, the City Code on Takeovers and Mergers and the market abuse regime. .

In the Corporate Advisers Rankings Guide, November 2017 the Firm is ranked second in terms of number of Stock Market clients (excluding companies listed on the Specialist Funds Market), with an impressive roster of listed companies.  We also enjoy leadership positions in the number of Stock Market clients we act for in the Industrials and Oil and Gas sectors and we are the top ranked firm in terms of number of AIM clients.

The Candidates Required

The successful candidates will ideally have gained experience in a City firm or a busy corporate finance practice of a leading regional firm.  Candidates must be technically excellent but equally important, commercially aware and enthusiastic about business development.  They will be team players with a keen, client-focused approach. They will also have strong academic backgrounds and excellent communication and organisational skills.
