The department

The lawyers in our International Corporate Group provide transactional and advisory services across a range of markets and industry sectors, concentrating on these that we are best known for.

Our lawyers assemble, negotiate and conclude complex and often market-leading transactions for a broad array of clients including international and domestic issuers, investment banks and corporate financiers, private equity and other investment funds, public and private companies and private individuals.

The range of matters on which we advise is equally broad and includes corporate finance and securities transactions, M&A, private equity, and venture capital, strategic alliances and projects as well as providing general corporate advise and advising on commercial agreements.

Role overview

Due to a strong pipeline of existing and new client work, the Corporate Group is looking to expand its capability in the London City office. The successful candidate will join a highly ranked and expanding group at a firm noted for its international platform. This is a great opportunity for an ambitious Associate to undertake top quality work in a supportive, market leading team.

Skills and experience – essential

We would be interested in speaking with 3-5 years PQE lawyers who:

  • have qualified as a solicitor in England & Wales
  • ideally have 3-5 years post qualification experience working within the corporate department of a City or International law firm
  • have proven technical legal skills in corporate transactions, ideally in one or more of our relevant industry sectors
  • have the experience and ability to operate autonomously
  • have a hands-on, flexible attitude to providing high quality client service
  • fit into the Firm’s culture of being dynamic, enterprising, creative, cosmopolitan and hard-working.
