The Team

With Residential Property practiced at our seven  offices across our  South Coast and Thames Valley regions, our conveyancing teams across the combined Firm have helped thousands of people in all nature of property transactions and in particular in buying and selling freehold or leasehold property.  Our teams have knowledge and expertise in many areas including buying from a developer or at auction, lease extensions, re-mortgaging and transfers of ownership. Coffin Mew is delighted to have been given a "highly commended" status in the CQS Award for Excellence in Conveyancing Practice at the Law Society Excellence Awards.

The Role

Due to expansion, we are recruiting a Conveyancing Executive to join our Residential Property Team in our Brighton office.

Coffin Mew celebrated a successful first six months after the opening of its Brighton office in 2015, that has seen growth, new hires, awards and a strong market position.  In january, following this success, we doubled the size of our office.

The Conveyancing Executive will carry a substantial caseload of Residential conveyancing transactions, progressing them from opening the file to post completion, adhering to all compliance requirements.

The candidate will be a team player and will play an active part in driving the team forward, through an interest in undertaking business development activity to seek and secure new work referral sources.  The candidate will also have excellent communication skills, have an ability to work well under pressure, be highly motivated, efficient, and looking for an opportunity to join and provide valuable support to a progressive and hard working team.

Residential conveyancing experience is essential for this role.
