The practice provides a full range of advice and guidance, including in relation to: outsourcing, contractual joint ventures, e-business, technology procurement contracts, telecoms and media, commercial contracts, Freedom of Information, intellectual property, technology, IT and telecoms disputes, data protection and privacy and media.

The Candidates Required

We are currently looking to recruit a lawyer from 2-4 years PQE to join our Technology and Commercial team based in our Manchester office.  The successful candidate will have gained experience in a large commercial practice specialising in drafting, negotiating and advising clients on a wide range of technology and commercial contracts including technology procurement, software licensing, SAAS agreements, e-commerce T&Cs, supply agreements, distribution and agency agreements and outsourcing agreements.  A good understanding of data protection and intellectual property law would be beneficial but is not essential.  

Candidates must be technically excellent, commercially aware and enthusiastic about business development.  They will be team players with a can-do attitude, strong client focused approach and an ability to 'think outside the box' and develop innovative solutions. They will also have a strong academic background and excellent communication and organisational skills.
